1. Hi
If there's one thing that I know for sure,
It's that no one knows what's going on.
Always one step behind the time we used to know.
The troubles now they only grow.
And I just want to say hello.
Breathe in the time - every tiny little twist and turn around.
Me, I'd catch a melody and find some good company.
And slow those troubles down.
Cause all you really ever really got is now.
I'm not waiting for this to pass me by.
2. Classified
Am I left or right? an 'at' or 'an' ? Well I don't know.
You say I'm this and that, but what I am is not for sure.
And I will step outside the box, if you try to frame my mind.
You better believe you can check what you think is best and still be misguided.
I am who I am because of where I've been its true,
But I can think on my own and so can you.
And I can tell right from wrong in the depths of my whole.
Though it doesn't always show.
Save me from these difficulties
Man I am my own and I don't need you
Sizing me up telling me what I think.
You got to and you want to classify me up
I'm not an 'ist' , a 'tive' , an 'ite' though I might
Not feel so inclined to prove the otherside.
Not a 'tic' nor a 'crit' can sum me up.
I am what I am and that's quite enough.
Got a bullseye on my head. Put me in a category.
All them little tricks and greedy logic are hypnotizing
I always got a reason why.

3. A Big Game
Well let's all play this great big game.
And if you don't wanna play, well that's just a shame.
Hands down. Everybody's gotta run in this race.
No ifs, ands, or buts - better keep up the pace.
Now if I make the rules, please don't complain.
1, 2, 3, I want more than 4. Yea I want everything.
And it's not my problem or fault if I was born to compete
I don't know what you've been told.
But you can't win without a little gold.
Said you might as well give up and take my hell-p.
Give it up and sign the line right here.
Give it up the fine print is everywhere.
Give it up now we make the rules.
Give it all up to me and pay your dues.
I said welcome once again to this game of life and debt.
Better take my hand, this is a race until the end.
And nothing will ever be the same again.
So throw the dice and play for life and
Enjoy those chains you're in.
I got a paper ball and chain that you can drag around all day.
I got a paid for ball and chain now you can do what I say.
Its all a big game that I was born to win.

Well I wish I could call you a friend without the agenda that never ends.

And you always hide in my mind, but I couldn't even tell you why.
And I wonder how this ends when it never did begin.

6. The Queen
I notice the noises
Parting softly from her lips
On her breath and into the air.
Well the letters pass by and I point to each one
With the focus in my mind.
But a fat hungry fish net catches the ocean like her
Syllables catch the time.
And her words sink to the saltiest depths -
Their origins on her vocal chords strike
Quiet violent tidal waves.
But her motive always finds its way afloat
No matter how gentle the ascent
And in my distance I'm less shaken than stirred
Yet still I can only nod, nod and learn.
Cause its not true - What you say and what you do.
And you can't see what you missed
So addicted to the feel and forgetting consequence.
A drama queen of hearts too easy to believe.
No flaws in her act but surely not the real thing.
A drama queen and it was almost too hard to see.
And it was never by chance she suits a suicide king.

9. Hangover
I'm waking up this morning. I rise up from my bed.
I got three little birdies, dancing round my head.
I wake and bake, friend an egg and ate
Off a bottle can floor with a cut on my face.
It was a brand new day so I got moving on.
Picked up the cups and a broken ping pong ball.
With a pain in my head and two bloodshot eyes
I was wondering just what the hell I did last night.
So when I step outside and hear them birdies sing,
Everything's alright again and I'm off as they fly away.

Couldn't even tell you what I'm doing with this life of mine, Life of mine.
Said it's so damn hard when the world gets you down, time and time again.
There's got to be more that we're meant for on this road we're going down my friend.
Well that's my nuerons popping, heart beat thumping.
Electrifying impulses openning my mind up and
Endorfins blasting through my body till its in a coffin
I'm walking and talking and love's what I got and there's
A million better ways to celebrate your state
Than to stare up at a pulpit and wait for judgement day
Well of course your demon wears a suit to work,
With a gold ring on finger focused on the short term.
There's an exploision to my motion and a fire in my eyes.

Chiariscuro in the bright tones dripping in my dreams it seems
The intricacies of what can be seen are always so damn amazing to me
